#1: Quotes
February 5, 2008
This is my first journal entry. It’s a bit more loose than the regular. Many of my entries are quotes. Quotes by famous, or at least known people. I would like to use more personal quotes. I kept a journal for about half a year, collecting quotes from classmates. I let them write in it from time to time. The problem is, they’re in Danish. Translation isn’t hard, my grades in English is fine, but I believe they have more power in Danish and there isn’t many of them, so they’ll come on a more irregular basis, and not so often. Since this weblog has just started, I’m still trying to figure out how I’m going to do this.
So, please enjoy inspirational, motivational, weird, and many more quotes, philosophies to come. I still have some categories I want to introduce, so there’s much more in the bag.
To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all – Oscar Wilde

There’s a difference between living and existing. It is rare that one realises this.
We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them – Albert Einstein
February 5, 2008
This quote is logically. If using the same kind of thinking to solve problems will only create more or worsen those we already have. War, homeless, the poor, nothing was ever cured, because we didn’t change the way we’re thinking.
To be conscious that you are ignorant is a great step to knowledge – Benjamin Disraeli

It certainly was useful to Mr. Disraeli himself. It might apply to the rest of us too.
